A Super Special Request

Dear Friends,

As you may be aware, I [am] was* not athletically-inclined.  Whether feigning sickness to avoid the horrifying spectacle of school sports day, hyperventilating after running an excruciatingly slow 5km, or still in 2018 struggling and failing to do even a single unassisted pull-up, my sporting ineptitude [is] was* all but guaranteed.

Only somewhat deterred by the extraordinary pain of 2017, I have once again signed up to ride the full distance of Bike MS - a fundraising ride that is changing the lives of people affected by MS.  I will be simultaneously grunting and choking my way through 160 miles of baking terrain and ~10,000 ft of climbing over the course of two days, because the MS Society does fantastic, impactful work supporting the many people living with this debilitating illness.

Please support me today, either to benefit the lives of people with MS, or because your strong sense of schadenfreude compels you to witness my continuing suffering.  By clicking this link and hitting "Donate to Jessica" you can help guarantee a truly chafing weekend in my future!  And you will be subjected to the extra special treat of my 2018 training blog by scrolling to the bottom my fundraising page, to really live every moment of the pain.

Thank you!
Jess(ica)

*Caveat: I am now quite good at riding my bike, but it still hurts; my hip is hurting right now from biking all month.
